COMPANY INFORMATION:

We are a faith-based, non-profit organization that serves adults 18+ with developmental disabilities. Our Adult Day Treatment & Training Program runs all year long from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Our program provides a caring and supportive environment for clients to develop the skills necessary to live independently and become more self-efficient. To help our members reach their full potential, all lessons and activities are geared towards the social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth of our members. DEC provides a variety of specials, which include interactive cooking classes by a personal chef, painting/art classes, Animal Assisted Therapy, special events, computer skills, and weekly outings into the community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Direct Support Provider, you will provide assistance and instruction on completing tasks including transportation, personal care, cleaning, and daily activities. Depending on the needs of each member, all or some of the following personal services are to be provided:

• Assistance with self-care skills.
• Assistance with physical mobility such as walking, getting up from the ground or floor, transferring from wheelchair to chair and vice versa and in and out of a vehicle and/or bus.
• Assistance with health conditions including seizures
